Squash Camp 2014 Day 3

After breakfast, campers continued to work in small groups with their coaches. Every day Sharma works with a handful of campers on fitness. As we reach the last few days of camp, the campers are playing games against one another while those who aren't playing observe. This gives campers a chance to learn from one another, and gives coaches a chance to teach the campers how to learn from their mistakes. Last night, everyone headed out for a night of bowling!

Squash Camp 2014 Day 2

Squash camp continued into its second day with an early morning wake up and breakfast before practice. The campers have been able to work in both small groups with their coaches as well as get one-on-one time.

Sharma continues to help the campers on their overall physical fitness. Yesterday she had them doing sprints, bear crawls and star jumps.

Last night, everyone loaded onto a Woodberry mini bus and went to see a movie. One of the benefits of squash camp  being such an intimate camp is that it allows for field trips! See more photos from the day below!

Squash Camp 2014 Day 1

We welcomed 19 campers to Woodberry yesterday afternoon for squash camp registration. The boys and girls moved into their separate dorms, and had time to meet their roommates and relax before going down to the squash center for practice.
While half of the camp was split into smaller groups for more individual practice with coaches, the other half of the camp participated in fitness exercises with Coach Sharma.
Here is a tentative daily schedule for the campers:
Last night, campers had time to hang out and enjoy milkshake night at the Fir Tree.
